When looking at the sea from the shore, the part of the sea closest to the horizon is called “the offing”.

There are many horizons in life, goals to achieve and “offings” to let go of. The vastness of the ocean reminds me of the endless possibilities of life.

Horizons is a acrylic pour on large gallery canvas with the addition of alcohol ink in many layers. Sand and crystals were applied to the lower portion of the painting creating texture and beach like quality.
